Rainbow Bridge – MWF Najada

We are devastated to announce that MWF Najada has joined her sire Negatraz and her many siblings across the Rainbow Bridge. We are grateful that she was able to sustain her 2017 colt by *Maddox Van Ryad for three months, but will miss Najada terribly. Young Matisse MF is being tended by “uncle” Razzberry+/ who is taking good care of the youngster. Run free, dear Najada.

Shreddin Betty leased for 2018 Maddox foal!

*Maddox Van Ryad, shown here at Las Vegas, will be the proud papa!

We are proud to announce that Jennifer Rogers of Piton Arabians has leased one of our rare AA Apollo Bey daughters, Shreddin Betty. She will be bred to *Maddox Van Ryad in 2017! Formerly from Montana, Jennifer relocated to Bandon, Oregon, this summer and found Maplewood Farms. Upon assessing the compatibility of the stallion and the mare, her decision was made quickly. We are especially excited because this will be a full sibling to Maximus MF, an exceptional and promising colt that we sold as a yearling. We wish the best to Piton Arabians, (Pi-ton, noun, a spike driven into a rock) and eagerly await their 2018 foal. Betty will reside here at Maplewood as we need her for fun rides in the Dunes!

She was also Champion Arabian Yearling Filly Breeders Sweepstakes on Friday.  Beautifully trained and conditioned by Tara Boresek, she was shown to both wins by Mike Hartman. Thanks to everyone who helped make this happen.
